The Law of Intention and Desire

This law will be talking about how information and energy exists everywhere in the universe. We are no different from trees in fact as we are made from the same elements and the same information. The only difference between us and the plants surrounding us is through the nervous system which helps us to perceive the information and energy we gain through the world.

We have feelings, opinions, beliefs, desires and emotions that all help us to determine how we use our energy. This can also be changed. Depending on circumstances and time our personal preferences can change. These elements that are linked to our consciousness can be shaped depending on two qualities; intention and attention. Intention is where the conscious transforms and attention is where the conscious energizes. So if you pay more attention to something you will be able to dedicate more energy to that particular decision and through intention you can bring about the decision or choice that you want.

The human body has an amazing network that helps with organising all the information that we need. It can gather everything up organise everything whilst simultaneously doing other things. Like the cells in our body which have to do all the things that a cell needs to do as well as keeping a record of what every other cell in the body is doing. This very energy can also be applied to the universe, which in turn lays the ground work for your desire or choice to come about.

The intent is for the future and the attention is for the present.  Detaching yourself from the intention often leads to a bigger awareness for the present. This makes you aware of what you have in life and what you can appreciate. The concept of time is like a placement for movement and intention. The past and the future are centred solely on your dreams or imagination, they do not exist like the present. If you are able to detach from the dream like intention then you can work with nature and other people to get to where you want. This is often called One-pointed attention.

I wish everyone to be happy and healthy during these difficult times.

The Law of Least Effort

This is the fourth Law from the Laws of Success and this post today will be talking about how we can apply minimal effort to our lives and gain the same result.

This law was first understood by Vedic-Science. It is more commonly known as “do less and accomplish more” to which the western world has described these actions as miracles. The Law of least effort is established in your life as a positive relationship with nature. For example when you expect only love from what you expend you will be given what you want out of life, so instead of chasing after copious amounts of money settle instead for the ability to use the money you have for someone who needs it. To try and not allow yourself to chase after material happiness but instead live the life you are in as if you have managed to get what ever you want from life. What I am trying to communicate with this Law is that the more you are able to love and fully enjoy what you have, not the same as wanting more from your life, you can essentially generate the flow and energy that you need.

Your body acts like a power source for cosmic energy. Generation, storing and expenditure of energy and depending on how you use this energy it can either be benficial or wasteful. The most wasteful part of this process is giving your ego attention. So lets say you wanted to control people or gain acceptance you are wasting energy. The way you re-channel this energy is by accepting yourself and learning that no matter what people say to you, it can’t affect you. Actually to put this another way you do not care about what others might say to you because it ultimately doesn’t bother you anymore.

There are three ways you can accomplish the Law of Least Effort and they are acceptance or commitment, responsibility and defencelessness. Acceptance/commitment is where you accept the situation that you are in. You are willing to understand and allow the people or situations in your life are there for a reason. Struggling against this means you are struggling against the universe and trust me on this you do not want to mess around with the universe. Why? Well do you really want to play a dirty game against the cosmic energy that could whoop your butt off the face of the planet? Nah neither would I. The universe knows and it gladly moves the situations and people in your life for your own good. This doesn’t mean that you need to not have goals you want or fantasies of a better life, or the life you want to have, it just means you are where you should be in this moment.

The second step to accomplish the Law of Least Effort, once you have accepted your situation you can then move onto the next step. This step is about responsibility. We all know what responsibility means and I don’t think I need to tell you what it means either. However in this particular equation responsibility isn’t about taking the blame for any wrong doing, it is in fact making you aware that the situation is no one’s fault and that includes yourself. As an example each time you argue you can turn it on it’s head and instead of seeing the negative or drowning parts of the argument you could see it as a difference of an opinion to control your anger. Problems are the starting blocks for opportunity. The only way you can see them as such is if you try not to get too emotionally attached and this doesn’t mean you need to not have emotions.

The third step to accomplish the Law of Least Effort is with defencelessness. To summarise this point it would be best to describe this as letting go of the insult and feelings you have for things that don’t bring you happiness. They don’t affect you and with that you can also acknowledge that you don’t need to convince or control other people and their opinions. So if you get into an argument with someone, over something petty or meaningless, it is often better to close the argument before it even begins. You waste so much time, effort, energy and emotional growth by feeding into the arguments. I have plenty of experience in this field and I have to say that just letting things go no matter how important they feel in the moment it ultimately isn’t worth your time or energy. Why would you want to condemn yourself to hours upon hours of arguing when you could just say sorry and try to be done with it?

It’s really just as simple as that. That is how you make your life easier. Perhaps not with work but it certain helps in making your mood brighter and happier and it will help in the long run. Especially with pig headed idiots who will try to ruin your life.

Once again I hope everyone is staying happy and healthy!

The Law of Karma

In this blog post I will be introducing you to the next Law of Success by Deepak Chopra. Just as the name of this law suggests every action that we take in life has a cause and effect. This laws often goes like the saying “You reap what you sow.” If you would like to gain happiness from everything around you then you need to be able to sow the seeds of happiness to get what you want.

Chopra goes on to further explain that there are differences in unconscious and conscious choices that we make in every single moment in life. Such as taking an insult and being offended or taking a compliment and being flattered. These choices, whilst on the surface may not seem like choices are processed unconsciously, making them unconscious choices. Chopra explains that instead of letting these choices affect you, learn to make them a conscious choice. I.E instead of being offended by an insult become impartial to the feelings that you have with the words directed towards you.

He further explains that people and their responses to these unconscious choices are a little like the Pavlovian Conditioning. Pavlov proved that each time you ring a bell when feeding a dog, it will eventually associate the ringing of the bell with the food. So in the case for where people suddenly react and are unconsciously doing so, you are in turn associating the insult with the unconscious anger at being insulted.

Our bodies are very powerful creations and as such once you start to consciously become aware of what choices you have you can tell by the way your body responds. There are two deciding factors for how your body should feel when you make a decision. The first is through comfort and the second option is through discomfort. If you are able to rely on your comfort and discomfort for a choice you begin on the journey of Spontaneous right action. You listen to your gut and allow yourself to reflect on if a situation is the right or wrong thing to choose. This gut instinct is related to your heart and despite the stigma of the heart being mushy is it is actually your gut letting you know what the right decision for you is.

Chopra then begins to explain that due to these feelings there are several things you have to become aware of. The first of these is the Karma from your past. You need to consciously be aware of what you have done in your past that could be affecting you now. The ways that karma can affect you might be through karmic debts, the universe always accounts for what you have done and pays in kindness. These debts will be paid for in one way or another and they are never forgotten about.

You could also transmute or transform your Karma into a different experience and read the messages about what the universe is trying to send to you. as an example you fall of your bike and break your arm. The universe might be telling you that you need more help in your life, either from someone or something that you might not have looked for yet. It could be that the universe is trying to move you in a different career direction. The possibilities are simple but only if you’re looking for the answers.

The third way to clear karmic debts is through transcendence. This is primarily done through meditation. The process of doing meditation is like washing a piece of cloth. The more you do it the cleaner it gets.

These steps can lead you to realise a hidden desire in you or the potentiality in your life and they can then manifest. These manifestations could generate an action in your life and either provide happiness to yourself or to others. That is the point of meditation and what you can gain through leading a life of conscious choice making.

I hope everyone is keeping themselves safe and healthy

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success – The Law of Giving

In this post I will be continuing my brief introduction on the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra. I will be discussing the second law in his book which is The Law of Giving. In other interpretations of this you could alter this to be the Law of giving and taking. Not through physical means but through the universe in order to get what you want. Sounds weird I know but let’s just delve a little deeper to see what this law is all about.

The way that you receive and take happens in the universe. You receive energy and you take energy, nothing in the universe is ever static. The premise of this is that whatever you put out into the universe comes back to you. If you decide to remove this process or an imbalance then your energy and flow to the universe could become stagnated. This will mean that whatever you do is a direct record of your affluence and abundance in life.

Most people when they think about affluence and abundance they automatically think about money. The one thing that everyone on Earth desires but never seem to hold onto it, save a few individuals who managed to make their own wealth. Part of this process of giving is one simple truth that will be entirely obvious for some. If you give someone what they want they are more than likely to give you what you want. An example of this Law would be this, you want to buy a car but having no money to do so you need to look at other means. A friend of yours is saving up and as a generous gift to this friend you willing give them some money in order to help get the car they need. When they eventually get the car they could offer you lifts or rides to where you need to go as a favour for helping them buy the car. Suddenly in time you find that they give you the car for a lower price as they have managed to find the funds to buy a newer car. This is just an example and not an actual thing people do.

So if you want to find love then you need to give other people love. If you wish to have wealth then you need to be able to give other’s wealth when they need it. If someone wishes to have material possessions then you need to give them something so the cycle of giving starts. I did this this week by shaving all of my hair off. Not because I fancied a new lockdown haircut but because I wished to do something good for someone close to me. I do not want anything nice to come out of this decision but should anything come out of it I will be extremely happy. I made this decision not for my own benefit but to allow someone close to me to not feel so embarrassed about their lack of hair. Which is a whole other story that I do not need to talk about.

My advice to you or to anyone wishing to gain anything in the world is to first lend a hand when you do not have all the money in the world. Lending a hand or your time could be the answer. Making sure someone you know is given a positive note to encourage or help them through a time of need.

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success – The Law of Pure Potentiality

During the many resources that John gave me I was able to get a hold of this small book about the spiritual laws of success. In an effort to help calm my anxiety but also to start to establish the identity of self I gave this a try. In this first post I will be covering the first law which is all about the self.

This law discusses how you are essentially made up of energy and this energy has no boxes or guidelines and is instead formless and free to roam. It is basically the thing inside of you that allows you to change and grow and move in any direction that you wish to choose. When you figure out that you have infinite possibilities to choose from you can then become more “unified” in how you feel and become more accepting of what life brings you.

There are two things that make up this unified spirit existence. The first is the Self-referral and the second in Object-referral. Self-referral is where you internal reference point is at your spirit. Think of this part as morals or standards that you have given yourself. The second part is the object-referral which is linked to the experiences and values other people have given to you or let you experience. It is in these specific circumstances that we often seek approval or acknowledgement from those around us. If you are free from the need to be able to control a situation and need to seek approval from others and not feel the criticism. That is when you have found your true self.

In some way the object-referral is based upon your ego, which is just a mask for you to hide behind. It is something that you use in order to save face or go with the crowd. When you have removed this ego from yourself and you are able to love others without the need for you to control or feel superior then you have mastered your true self.

The way in which you can start to apply this to your everyday life is by simply meditating. Allowing yourself to just simply be. To just sit there and allow all thoughts to flitter out of your mind and to feel comfortable with the silence. A difficult option for some people I know but to simply be placed in this quietness is actually a really good way to become more focused before homework or before a test. If you don’t believe me why don’t you try it yourself? Just five minutes to allow your surroundings and your mind to relax and allow your being to just breathe in the world you are in.

Conversion Therapy

Hello everyone and welcome back to the blog for general thoughts and topics. I hope you are all having a great week so far! I have a specific post coming up and in the works but it will take a while to get out so please bare with me whilst I give the piece the justice it deserves. Please enjoy this week’s post and I’ll see you all next week!

Throughout the years there has been a steady and growing number of people who are a part of the LGBTQA+ community. Throughout history there has been one particular concern, besides family rejection and general population acceptance, that the community is working hard to change. The horrible practice of ‘Gay Conversion Therapy’ as it is most known as is still an ongoing problem in the modern world.

What is Conversion Therapy?

It was first introduced in the early 1900’s as a way of curing the homosexual orientation. Such therapy can include a variety of shaming, emotional and physical intimidation as well as emotionally traumatic experiences. The most popular method of choice is to electrocute patients into associating gay feelings or sexual urges to the shocks so their minds will want to ‘revert back’ to being heterosexual. Despite there being no proof that conversion therapy works, as most governing medical bodies deem it to be a futile practice that does more harm to a patient, which can include suicide or depressive tendencies.

Why is this still a problem?

Part of the problem comes through mis-informed parents or carers and a lack of understanding and acceptance for those who are gay or a part of the LGBTQA+ community. Many parents still consider conversion therapy a viable source to have their children ‘turn back to normal’ and will often pressure kids into undergoing this awful treatment. There are some countries around the world who still actively promote this practice.

Who has recently banned Conversion Therapy?

In a celebratory moment earlier this month Germany is one of the few countries in the world who has banned conversion therapy for minors. The legislation was pushed through government and groups who offer the service to minors could be dealt with a £30,000 fine or a year in prison. Anyone who is found aiding or threatening a minor with this service could be seeing the same punishments.

Which countries can minors still receive conversion therapy?

Shockingly enough the U.K. is still one of these countries. It was supposed to have had talks earlier in 2018 after then Prime Minister Theresa May was in power. Yet all conversations for banning the abominable act have been held simply put because it’s a “complex issue” as phrased by Kemi Baednoch who was the Equalities Minister at the time. She says that there were “several other practices that could fall within this scope and each needed to be thoroughly investigated before any decision was to be announced if at all.” To which I simply do not agree with. It is not difficult to ban conversion therapy, as so kindly demonstrated by Germany.

Once again I hope you are all doing well and that you have a great week and you stay safe.

BLM and LGBTQA+ Equality

As many of you might be aware the BLM movement has become a viral topic of conversation around the world. For anyone who isn’t aware of what has happened in the past two week’s I shall explain it to you now.

So What Happened?

Two weeks ago an African-American man, George Floyd, was brutally murdered after a white police officer, Derek Chauvin, knelt on his neck for more than nine minutes. This was in no way a death that needed to happen, he was arrested after a store clerk thought he might have been using a forged $20 bill to pay for some shopping. George Floyd died in hospital and his death was made viral. This lit the fire for many in the black community and has now spiralled to protests, riots and looting. The first place to be targeted was Minneapolis, which is where the death happened, and spiralled to various cities across the US. The magnitude of the outrage has transversed the oceans and has now reached Europe as well as a few Asian countries, like Japan.

Why do we need to help?

Without those in the black community we would not have any of the equality rights we have today. Women wouldn’t be able to vote and I understand that for a lot of people topics like these are uncomfortable to talk about, at least to some people, but it is due to this uncomfortable topic that we need to be able to spread awareness. Member’s of the black community are still continuing to fight for their quality nearly 400 years after the abolition of slavery, just because they happen to be a different skin tone. They should be treated with the same respect and dignity that anyone else in the world is given and that is why many people with the LGBTQA+ community should be providing the help that Black people need.

What can I do to help?

The first thing you can start doing is by researching. Until recently I never realised just how deep my white privilege ran. Living in the U.K and just seeing the abuse people in this country get I am honestly so sickenly guilty that no matter what I will probably never be put through the torment that black people do. I understand that my skin colour will automatically give me certain rights and respect that many do not have. Research is the one true way of being able to admit that there is a difference and once that difference is learnt you can then make changes in your behaviour and those people around you. Educating yourself will help future generations and also help you to understand the levels of racism.

The next step after doing some research is to find charities to donate to. This is the most impactful way you can help the black community. If you cannot donate or you do not have the funds to donate I would advise signing petitions and anything you can get your hands on in relation to changing black lives.

The last step is being able to access YouTube. There are several videos on YouTube that have all of their advertisement money and view money go straight to charities in order to fund them.

I beg of anyone reading this post, please do not stay silent. Please do not let this just be a viral trend and end once everyone gets bored. Please keep educating yourself and learning all there is to know about helping the black community and even those in minority groups. Helping the black community gain equality just like they marched and protested for you and your community in your hour of need. Do not sit idly by and allow these indifferences to happen in the world.

I hope that everyone is still staying safe and well and that you get to reading.

How Has Meditation Helped Me?

For anyone confused on why I have changed my blog yet again, I have personally decided that I’m not very good at sticking to certain parameters or topics. I get bored easily and thus I will be discussing a variety of different things within this new blog. I want to discuss things like light novels, Anime, Cartoons, World problems, K-Pop and so many other things that I haven’t been able to do at this point in time. So my main purpose for this blog is going to be acting like my journal. My thoughts, feelings and problems laid bare. Is this a good idea? Well I really don’t know but frankly I don’t much care for things like how other people react to what I do. Unless I’m endangering a life then I will be silent.

So here is my first blog post that isn’t related to light novels and the such. I hope despite this different pace again you will be willing to keep an open mind and you aren’t too critical of this change. without further ado here we go!

I started my meditation journey in the latter half of last year. At first I was highly sceptical and wary about trying something like this as I was unaware of how it would change me as a person. I thought how will this help how I’m feeling and allow me to come to the right conclusions about my transgender journey? All deep things that you can never just think about once. It’s like an itch in your mind. It niggles away and keeps coming back and at one point I documented how many times these thoughts came to me, which came out to about 20 times a day on average. I was being consumed by these thoughts and how do I fit into all these different questions I have been asking myself almost relentlessly for the past 5 years now.

I went into this process with a small negative mindset and, whilst I have thoroughly changed my mindset, now it took time. The first step I noticed when I practiced being mindful and meditating daily was in the first two weeks. I allowed myself to start distancing from the drama my family created and ended up distancing myself which in turn allowed me to start relaxing. I was able to keep more calm and focused during the day and ended up being a lot more pleasant to my family as a result. That was however all I achieved and this would continue for another five months.

I practiced the meditating, I will admit that I did not do it every single day like I should have done. Over time this became a lot more easy to do. To allow my brain to experience the world but not engage with it. It was an experience that in theory sounds so complex but practically it is so much easier to do. You just allow your surroundings to engulf you almost, to become a part of the world you live in rather than looking.

If I had to give you an analogy of this experience imagine you’re at crosswalk and it has one of those wired barriers running across it. To me without the meditating I would have simply walked by this road and not really noticed anything beyond the wired barrier or have even taken a notice. Settling into the meditation allows me to move the barrier and step into the road, which is where I can now experience more than just a barrier. I can see the other side with all the shops and the pavements and trees lining the streets. I can hear children playing and couples walking side by side. I can feel the air across my skin and the sounds of bees. All this sensory overload, if you will, comes from being able to step past this barrier.

This in turn has allowed me to be truly grateful of the world I live in. I am more happy and some days cannot contain the excitement or the happy I have built up.

The meditating hasn’t allowed me to solve my problems but it has allowed me to accept that sometimes you simply just need to wait. I have grown as a person since I have started and I have allowed myself to naturally change. Something that I had been forcing myself to do, but with the meditating I have come to the natural conclusion that things shouldn’t be pushed. You are in the moment with the situation in your control at the right place and the right time.  Just have faith that you will get to the answer that you want in time.

I hope everyone is staying safe and sound during this current period as always. See you all soon.

Science Fell in Love So I Tried to Prove It

What happens when two complete science obsessed individuals start to have romantic feelings of attraction for the other person? It turns into a love comedy bonanza.

So I personally didn’t find this through a light novel website although I probably could have done it rather quickly. I did find this through ChrunchyRoll and have had a fair number of laughs from this anime. If anyone is feeling a little down and needs a quick laugh then this is an anime I would throughly recommend.

The positives with this anime were the laughs that came from this ridiculous scenario and also the plot. I liked how this was a very calculated approach to love. A genuine confusion on how you measure love and what exactly does happen to our minds when we fall in love. Pie charts do appear people! As well as heart rate monitors and bar graphs. I ended up learning a thing or two about science terminology such as a complex explanation about a null hypothesis. Want to know what I mean? Well, go check it out for yourself I am sure you’ll understand what I mean.

Now personally you all know how I feel about developed characters and personally whilst the whole premise of this anime was to have laughs I didn’t feel much in the way of character development in this series. Perhaps the light novel will be different in this regard but the main development we get in this series comes from the side character. Not the protagonists or the series that everything is based off, no we get a side character who has a fully fledged background and growth. Besides that I personally think there could have been a better way to explore this question of “How do you know what love is?” The series, whilst I do know it is taking a light hearted approach, could have a deeper development.

Hope all of you are staying safe out there and taking care of yourselves!

Ordinary I Extraordinary Them

So as per usual I wanted to find something that would satisfy my romantic urge. This story or web novel I suppose was something that caught my attention due to the lags it held rather than the plot line.

There are so many light novels and web novels on the internet with romance and high school in them I wanted to stick away from the popular stories. Firstly because I will admit my choice for harem and romance does pipe my interest. As does the yandere and high school tags so why not try something from one of these topics.

The story starts off with the protagonist Shinra Minato who just wants to live his life completely stress free however this all changes when he starts his second year in high school. Friends with the most popular boy in school and childhood friends to the most popular girl and sat next to the girl known as Ice Queen his life starts to develop into a real life love guru. The only exception, and from what I have read thus far, he might have already been forced into a love triangle or square…a shape with more than three sides to it.

The good points about this is that despite the usual protagonist being all embarrassed and highly stressed out about this series of events, Minato keeps his cool. He actually goes out of his way to not engage in the shenanigans the rest of the group brings. This gradually begins to cause more problems for him and on some occasions hilarity to the story. Other good points about this story is that it is still being translated on a weekly basis and is throughly enjoyable to read.

The bad parts about this story is that it plays out the typical tropes seen in high school stories as well as usual clichés. The translating style from the first 30 chapters is terribly worded and at times frustrating to read, I get that translating means sticking to the actual story line however a little rewording for this story could go a long way. So far the story is progressing at a very very slow pace so if you do not mind that there are some slow burn scenes and very little progression on plot then I think you’ll enjoy this story.

If you would like to read this story you can click here.

Hope everyone is staying happy and healthy during this difficult time.
